No i have not tried, but im trying to but harden crystal (enchanted ward on it). I don't want to waste the chromatic seals :(

I can't upgrade it either. My theory is that since it already has a third perk, the upgrade will fail if you try to use a craft mod. Not gonna test this right now because I'm prioritizing my PvE build. Have you tried upgrading it without a craft mod @arra0n ?
