Just finished this,, you have to kill 3-4 small waves of skeletons before the boss spawns. Not broken.

quest worked for me....when you click the device 2 adds will spawn to your right, kill them then more adds will spawn the other side, kill them all and done. GLHF

Brokety broke

After Roland, Distraction part is borked.

I can’t get the quest from Roland and I also have VG at 20. So bummed. I soloed may way through all the quest arcs leading to it.

I am stuck the same way as Glorf

I was able to complete the quest, i don't have VG levelled though. Just make sure to kill all of the enemies that spawn after you interact with the device. And if you don't succeed just abandon the quest and log out for 1-2 minutes before accepting it again.

same as others have said. I complete Seek and Hide but he doesn't give me the next quest. I also had void gauntlet mastery at 20 before trying to turn in, but the two other people I was with didn't and they were able to get the quest. So seems if you want to get the 580 VG quest, don't get mastery 20 beforehand...

Can agree with last post, ran the prerequisite questline for Grasping Shadows with my group; they were able to receive and complete the quest (although they do not have the void gauntlet at 20). I have the gauntlet at weapon mastery 20 and I did not receive the quest, so it is also blocking me from finishing the prerequisite.

Quest does not unlock after completing the listed prereq, and sadly is gating from 580 VG quest

If anyone has finished this quest please let us know. I click the Ancient Device, enemies spawn and my quest updates to "Provide a distraction for Antiquarian Abbingdon". Then no updates follow regardless of how many skeletons I kill. Is it just completely broken?
